The Zemosa Acres' community is located off Highway 73 in Concord, North Carolina. The subdivision name came from the name given to our family farm adjacent to Zemosa Acres. The farm was named after our paternal grandmother Zeta Caldwell Niblock. She was raised on the farm and had planted a grove of Mimosa trees. They were referred to as Zeta’s Mimosas which was shortened over time to Zemosa. Since that time the farm has been referred to as “Zemosa.”
